It came down to the wire. With 2 hours to go and hundreds of votes cast, our two contestants for Best Goal in SL History were tied at 50%. Patrick’s sweet curler had serious momentum

But then Nostalgia FC struck. With a tight 50.5% of the votes, our Season 1 Goal of the Season, former The Royals FC superstar Nuel’s (@_Nuel88) chip against The Saints FC triumphed as the “Best Goal in SociaLiga history”. Only fitting that the fan voted Best striker in SL History would score the Best Goal in SL History!
