A terrible game week three in the Fantasy Premier League, FPL, has gladly come to an end, a big relief for most managers but there is one person who will be all smiles, manager of Huncho FC, Kizito James.
Huncho emerged winner of game week three of the Enovate x SociaLiga Fantasy League with an incredible 90points, but sadly won’t be receiving the ALAT of N10, 000 for his efforts.
It’s the end of the month, and that prize will be going to whoever finds himself at the top of overall standing.
But how James tek win GW3 wey bloody like abattoir? James na tiff sha, hin triple captain that Liverpool goal machine Mohamed Salah, who come dash am 24points- just like that.
But you see eh, I dey sure sey no me only me don tire sha. From those who captained Kun Aguero to those who made Everton’s Richarlison, the most transferred player for the game week, and of course some of us who felt Harry Kane’s goal last week, which ended his August hoodoo, was a fluke and decided to strip him of the armband ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Old Trafford, a difficult place for them and Kane, we must thank God the week is over!! Phew!!!
Anyway, make we continue becos if i tok as e dey my mind, this thing go over long and I wan try make sure sey e dey as short as my points for the week- 47! Tears!!!
With so many cards in the PL this past weekend, at least 35 yellow and four red cards, one of which was handed to Richarlison, it is quite befuddling so many got at least 70 points in the Enovate x SociaLiga FPL.
Kizito’s triple captain may have aided him, but he’s closely followed by the trio of Antoine FC’s Williams Nzamouche and Demi FC’s Abidemi Haruna, both of who shared the second spot after earning 78points respectively, and Michael Davids’ Recreational Salah FC taking the third position with 72points.
Three managers ended the game week on 71points, one on 70 while there were four teams who all finished on 69points. My mates o!! Smh.
Moving on, who remembers those two guys wey challenge each other for SociaLiga’s pidgin account? You remember dem abi? Gbam! We get update!!
Night Raid bin tell us sey him don deal with hin village people finish and that this week e go show Johnero FC pepper. But wetin we see eh, Raid’s village people no dey plan leave any time soon o!!
After their bragging, na Johnero wey win the special head-to-head, with 56points for a total of 198points, taking him up to 129th on the table.
For Night Raid, the matter red no be small, e get 33points for a total of 157points, this saw him drop drastically to 435th on the standings.
As e dey hot, Johnero is doing his best to ensure he gets to the top, while Raid is interested in crude oil!
Finally, we cannot end this review without a look at those at the top as the top three at the end of each month will be receiving those ALAT-s and something interesting happened between 2:30am and 9:45am today.
Danjuma Sunsuwa’s Tunari was top of the log, 58pts for the GW and 246points overall, with Sarri-Ball third on 242pts following his 67pts for GW3.
However, by 9:45am, Tunde-B and his Sarri-Ball don swap places with Tunari, Sarri-Ball now at the top with 257pts, while Tunari drops to 3rd on 246pts.
Who came second? BlueMoonRising,! While those two were busy battling each other, my guy was minding his business all this time!
Congrats to the trio of Sarri-Ball, BlueMoon and Tunari, e no easy!
Tell me, what do you think happened to Sarri-Ball and Tunari? I hope someone can explain sha!!
