This is a clash between two teams who desperately need points. Both teams began the season with losses on MD1. More interestingly, this is a clash between two former champions who are looking to reclaim glory. Unfortunately, they have not started brightly.
The loss to Alimosho Ladies FC was the first time Knight Ladies FC have ever lost their opening game of a season. Meanwhile, Saints Ladies have now lost two of their three opening day matches.
This is the sixth meeting between the two giants who came into the new season as joint favourites for the title. The five previous games between them have been even, with both teams winning two apiece and drawing one game.
Neither team had a stand-out star in MD1, but a lot was on show tactically. While Knights Ladies favoured the long ball, Saints Ladies prefered attacking down the middle with the ball on the ground. Expect more of the same in this tough clash.
This is a clash between two teams that started the season on fire! Many have been looking forward to this game after seeing the MD1 games involving them, with this game looking very hard to call on that evidence.
This is the first ever meeting between both clubs at SociaLiga. Top-of-the-table Dannaz Ladies have already shown that they are great going forward. Alimosho Ladies have shown themselves to be tactically astute while being entertaining.
Whoever wins this will go into MD3 top of the table. At least a draw will keep Dannaz Ladies on top going into another matchday. Neither club have conceded yet. In truth, neither have looked like conceding so far. Their defences are ruthless with clearances and snuffing out danger.
We have a solid battle on our hands!
This highly anticipated clash will have battles all over the pitch. We learned on MD1 that Alimosho Ladies love to attack down their strong right side while Dannaz Ladies love to use their midfield led by star midfielder Blessing Emefile. This is where things will get interesting. Alimosho Ladies have a solid midfield unit. Right there in the middle is where the game will most likely be won and lost.
