Here is a wrap up of what happened on a very good Saturday for Alimosho Ladies
Alimosho Ladies are the only unbeaten side left in the Bet9jaSociaLiga women’s league after an imperiously efficient performance against debutants, Dannaz Ladies.
Alimosho moved top of the standing with a comprehensive 3-0 demolition of the former leaders, the Cedars. The Herd put in an excellent display at CIS to shock bookmakers and the hitherto unbeatable Dannaz.
Victory opened the flood gates when she put the Herd 1-0 ahead at the break, before two more goals were added in the second half.
While expectations were that Dannaz would bounce back after the break, it was Alimosho who however continued from where they stopped in the opening half as Shakirat doubled their advantage 10 minutes into the second half.
It would be game over moments later when Adebisi joined in on the act as she added the icing on the cake with a third for the Herd to make it 3-0, sealing the convincing win and three points.

It was a performance and a result nobody expected ahead of kickoff as the Cedars were the only team yet to concede a goal across the Bet9jaSociaLiga divisions.
A deserved win for Alimosho which now puts them in the driving seat ahead of the last round of matches, while for the Cedars, a disappointing outing for the and player of the month, Ajoke Akinbo, could come back to haunt them.

Yes! Surely, you must have been shocked by the kind of entertainment this game provided on MD6 as defending champions, Knights Ladies, were made to dig deep for a point.
It was indeed a Slicky and Emebie Nwabueze show at CIS as both players were on a mission to see who would outscore the other after netting a brace each.
A stunning effort from Nwabueze got proceedings off to a good start as Saints, looking to revive their fading campaign, took a 1-0 lead at half time.
Both sides came out smoking in the second half, with three added to the score line. Ayo Okotcha, aka Slicky, was the first to score as she drew Knights level. But not to be outshone, Nwabueze struck again to restore the lead for Saints with her second of the game.

However, just when the talented midfielder and the Saints thought they had done enough to claim their first win and three points of the season, Slicky grabbed her own brace to snatch a point for the champs.
