With Gameweek 7 set to kick off late Friday night, the SociaLiga FPL has made things easier for its managers as they finalize their plans.
One of the league’s top managers, Ibhadon Ose Joel (aka Fear Factor FC) has listed four players that managers must include in their teams, and that’s if you don’t already have them (what have you been doing, though?).
Danny Ings, Southampton
With four goals and two assists in his opening six matches of the season, you can understand why Ings features highly on Joel’s list.
“Southampton is a club that 50% of their goals are either from Che Adams or Ings, who is either scoring or assisting. So, he’s someone sure of giving points,” Joel said.
Che Adams who is valued at a miserly £5.8m has scored two and assisted two in the opening six matches.
Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, Tottenham
Both Spurs forwards have been in superb form this season, Son is the top scorer in the PL, while Kane has the most assists in the League.
So, if you don’t have the duo by now, Joel says this is the moment to change that as Spurs take on a Brighton and Hove Albion side who are without a win since GW2.
“Kane and Son are playing against BHA, Kane has the most assists, Son has the most goals, Spurs have created the most chances and scored the most goals.”
“You just know that Brighton is not too defensive and to score them isn’t that hard. In fact, they (Kane and Son) must be your first and second choice picks and most managers will captain either this week, I am sure.”
Timo Werner, Chelsea
It hasn’t been the best of start for the German in the PL since his move in the summer, but according to Joel, this might be the week for Werner to really replay his loyal owners.
“Werner might be on penalty duties,” Joel stated. “He hasn’t given enough to managers that have him but I feel maybe this is the week for him.”
Werner and Chelsea are away at Turf Moor where they take on Burnley.
Meanwhile, Joel who has been one of the managers of the month for October has provided an insight into his tactics which have seen him emerge as one of SociaLigaFPL’s most consistent and performing managers.
“Naturally, I study teams and when there is a shift in play pattern,” he added. Tottenham under (Jose) Mourinho are based on quick attacking football which will benefit their strikers, for example.”
“Like just Chelsea against Manchester United, when Chelsea go up against top 6 sides they usually go with 5 at the back in a defensive pattern or set up. So, I was even confident enough to put both (Kurt) Zouma and Reece James on my squad and it worked out.”
Captain Pick? Harry Kane.
“I am planning on leaving my armband still with Harry Kane, it’s always with him.”
